Discover the unique world of The Maine Thing Advanced Toastmasters (TMT), the exclusive advanced club in Division B (District 45). Chartered in 2019, we stand out by championing effective feedback and impromptu speeches. While Table Topics are always spontaneous, we take it a step further, dedicating a slot for impromptu speaking, giving members the chance to showcase their off-the-cuff speaking skills.

Established in October 2019, we proudly claim the title of being the pioneer club in Division B to transition to Zoom meetings, earning us the coveted 'experts' status in orchestrating virtual gatherings. When the COVID-19 era began in 2020, we took on a crucial role in guiding other clubs within the Division and District to successfully navigate their own virtual meetings.

Our club's overarching theme is centered around FUN! We infuse captivating themes into our meetings, sparking lively panel discussions on topics ranging from the Prime Directive for Star Trek fans to the divisive nature of Pumpkin Spice. Heartfelt discussions on honoring Veterans and rescuing unwanted animals add depth to our meetings. With members hailing from 2 Canadian provinces and 5 U.S. states, we've embraced the virtual realm and meet on Zoom to accommodate our diverse community.
